Selection Process — Post-wise

🩺 Post Codes 12601, 12603, 12604 — Interview-based Selection

1

Application Scrutiny & Shortlisting

All applications are verified for eligibility. If the number of applications received is very high, NFC reserves the right to conduct a Screening Test (objective/OMR-based) to shortlist candidates for the Personal Interview. The decision to conduct a screening test and the cut-off for shortlisting rests entirely with NFC.

2

Document Verification (prior to Interview)

Shortlisted candidates must report for document verification before appearing for the interview. All original certificates and two sets of self-attested photocopies — educational qualifications, date of birth proof, registration certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate — must be produced. Candidates failing to produce originals will not be permitted to appear for the interview.

3

Personal Interview — Final Selection

Selection is based solely on performance in the Personal Interview. The interview panel evaluates the candidate's subject knowledge, professional experience, communication skills, and suitability for the role. Final merit is prepared based on interview marks. NFC's decision is final and binding.

👩‍⚕️💊☢️ Post Codes 12602, 12605, 12606 — Three-Stage Written Test Selection

1

Stage 1 — Preliminary Test (Section A) | 1 Hour

The Preliminary Test is an objective-type (MCQ) paper of 1-hour duration. It tests general aptitude and basic subject knowledge. Stage 1 and Stage 2 are conducted in a single session as Section A and Section B respectively. Call letters for the test are sent to the registered email ID of the candidate.

2

Stage 2 — Advanced Test (Section B) | 2 Hours

The Advanced Test is an objective-type paper of 2-hour duration testing in-depth subject/professional knowledge relevant to the specific post. Final merit is prepared based only on marks secured in the Advanced Test (Stage 2). Preliminary Test is qualifying in nature only. Question papers for both written tests are in English and Hindi.

3

Document Verification (before Skill Test)

Candidates shortlisted from Stage 2 (based on Advanced Test merit) are called for document verification prior to the Skill Test. All original documents must be produced — educational certificates, registration certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and Date of Birth proof.

4

Stage 3 — Skill Test (Qualifying in Nature)

The Skill Test is a qualifying stage — it is not counted in the final merit. Candidates must pass the Skill Test to be eligible for final selection. The test evaluates hands-on practical ability in the specific field (nursing procedures, pharmacy dispensing, radiography techniques, or X-ray operations as applicable). Final selection is based on Advanced Test merit among those who qualify the Skill Test.

✅ Scientific Officer — Interview only ✅ Nurse/Pharmacist/Technician — 3-stage process ✅ Final merit = Advanced Test marks only ✅ Skill Test is qualifying (not for merit) ✅ OMR-based written exams ✅ English + Hindi question papers
